Employers work with LINK across a full range of staffing services for employers: temporary staffing, temp-to-hire, direct hire, LINK On-Site workforce management, and payrolling. We serve companies through our staffing agency in Houston and our staffing agency in Dallas-Fort Worth. Four branch offices hire candidates in person and handle temporary and temp-to-hire staffing: Houston East, Houston North, and Houston West across Greater Houston, and Irving DFW across Dallas-Fort Worth. Our Story

It Started With Two People and a Simple Idea.

In 1976, Karen Pitts founded Houston Medical Personnel Services, placing nurses and allied health professionals in Houston-area healthcare facilities. The operation was small. The principle behind it was simple: treat every person with dignity and respect, and connect employers with people who are genuinely ready to do the work.

By 1980, Houston's industrial economy was surging. The energy boom was in full force. The Ship Channel was busy, and manufacturers across the metro needed workers they could count on. Bill and Karen Pitts opened LINK Staffing Services that year and went all-in on industrial staffing in Houston. That decision shaped the LINK that exists today.

The industries LINK serves have changed since then. Energy has moved through boom and bust. Manufacturing has reshored. Logistics has transformed. Through those shifts, LINK has stayed committed to quality placements and treating people with respect.

Leadership

Family-Founded. Second-Generation Led.

Kathryn Mujezinovic serves as President and CEO of LINK Staffing Services. She joined the company in 2006 as a Business Development Manager in sales. She moved through branch management and operations, learning how LINK's offices work from the inside out, before becoming President and CEO in 2021. Read about Kathryn's 20-year journey at LINK.

Founders Bill and Karen Pitts remain active advisors to the company they built. In 2012, Karen Pitts was inducted into the American Staffing Association's Leadership Hall of Fame, the association's highest individual recognition for careers that have shaped the profession. LINK remains family-led.

2021

A deliberate turn

LINK sells its franchised operations, a network of 35 offices across nine states, to HireQuest, Inc. and refocuses on its company-owned Texas offices. That same year, Kathryn Mujezinovic becomes President and CEO. Together, the sale and succession mark LINK's choice: depth over breadth, with the next generation leading its company-owned Texas operations.

Today

Built for what Texas builds next

Reshored manufacturing, data centers, renewable energy, Gulf Coast industrial investment, and North Texas distribution growth keep creating demand for the industrial talent LINK has placed since 1980. LINK serves employers across Greater Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth from company-owned Texas offices.

What Guides Us

Four Values Since 1980.

These are the operating principles Bill and Karen Pitts set when they started placing workers. The words have stayed consistent because the work still demands the same standards.

Treat every person with dignity and respect.

It applies equally to a warehouse associate and a vice president of operations. It applies to the client of 20 years and the employer calling for the first time. LINK does not process applicants. It places people.

Meet and exceed our clients' expectations.

The difference between filling a seat and solving a workforce problem is whether the people making placements are invested in the outcome. The 9-Step Employee Selection System℠, LOPE® evaluation, and 360° site safety tours are what that commitment looks like in practice.

Remain committed to continual improvement.

None of LINK's screening programs existed on day one. Each grew from years of learning why placements fail and building processes to reduce those failures.

Do what is right regardless of circumstances.

Through the 1983 recession, the energy busts, and Harvey, LINK held its standards ahead of short-term wins. Doing what is right can take longer and cost more. It is part of why LINK is still here.

The LINK Philosophy

The "i" in LINK Is a Person.

When LINK's wordmark was designed, the "i" was drawn as a person, a human figure at the center of the brand. That design reflects what staffing should be: a process built around individual people.

It represents workers who show up reliably, stay through an assignment, and earn permanent offers. It also represents hiring managers who trust LINK to send people they can count on.

Competent, Dependable Talent. Delivered.

Focus Areas

Staffing Across the Industries That Build Texas.

LINK places temp, temp-to-hire, and direct hire talent across six industries. Light-industrial work leads; professional placement runs as its own clearly labeled lane.
