What Is Temp-to-Hire?

Temp-to-hire places a worker in a role on a temporary basis with the goal of evaluating them for a permanent position. The employer directs the work and assesses performance, attendance, and fit. If both sides are satisfied, the worker moves to the employer’s payroll permanently.

During evaluation, LINK is the employer of record — payroll, tax withholding, workers’ comp, and compliance are all handled by LINK. The employer gets a working evaluation without the cost of a direct hire from day one.
