Our client is hiring multiple full-time Forklift Drivers with above average pay rates and opportunity for growth. 

Position Details

During your first 90 days, you will enjoy the perks of being a Link Staffing employee.  After 90 days, you will be eligible for a pay increase and conversion to full time (permanent) employment with our client.

Job Summary: Forklift Operator 

Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, the Forklift Driver / Operator is responsible for moving products / materials in a warehouse setting, such as: pulling products to prepare for shipping, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and documenting inventory. 

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound orders safely and move products to storage locations by efficiently stacking or storing customer products in the appropriate areas

• Ensure inbound orders are properly documented by following Company Receiving Procedures

• Pull outbound orders and stage them in a timely manner

• Prepare product for shipment, ensuring that listed product types on order have been pulled and any special instructions listed have been completed

• Perform packaging, picking, and tinting in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards for our specialized services

• Perform manual loading and unloading as needed, meeting customer requirements

• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers, flatbeds, railcars, or other transportation vehicles

• Equipment that will be used includes Warehouse Forklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Sweeper, or other material handling equipment such as drum clamps, man baskets, extended forks, double forks, side shifters

Skills/Requirements: Forklift Operator

• Reach Truck experience is a plus

• Clamp experience or Hazmat experience is a plus.

• Must have 2 years sit-down and reach truck experience in a logistics environment

• Bilingual (English – Spanish)

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Experience in Warehouse and Logistics procedures and material handling
