PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This position contributes to the company’s success by performing accurate and
efficient complex maintenance and installation of all phases of mechanical equipment and to serve as a
quality control point for the work of less senior maintenance mechanics and ensure all work is
performed in a safe manner.
Schedule: 1st Shift Monday through Friday (5 AM to 5 PM) OT and weekends when required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Experience with Industrial and Forging Equipment Maintenance a plus

Observe functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards/problems and need for adjustments, repairs or replacement

Troubleshoot, repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment within the establishment for manual machines and CNCs
-
Troubleshoot machine alarms
-
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems
-
Disassemble machinery and repairs or replaces broken parts
-
Dismantle, test and analyze malfunctioning equipment, hand tools and power tool and tests apparatus to locate defects
-
Clean and lubricate parts
-
Provide advice, guidance and training to less senior maintenance mechanics
-
Inspect the work of others
-
Follow company polices and procedures
-
Proactively participates in safety program
-
Ability to work overtime as needed
-
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Excellent knowledge of mechanical processes and procedures
-
Excellent knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment
Education and/or Experience:
-
High School Diploma or GED preferred
-
5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance
Physical Requirements:
-
Standing, bending, sitting, lifting up to 50#, squatting and walking for 8 to 10 hours per day.
